Compassionate Embrace: Navigating the Journey of Grief

“Do not surrender your grief so quickly. Let it cut more deeply. Let it ferment and season you as few human or divine ingredients can.” — Hafiz

In the depths of grief, it often feels as though the pain will never subside.

Take a moment.

Relax.

Breathe.

Allow the waves of grief to flow through you without resistance.

Remember, it is not grief itself that brings suffering…

It is your RESISTANCE to grief that creates your misery.

What if you could view your grief as a small child yearning for love, understanding and acceptance, just as they are?

Imagine approaching your grief with compassion, as if it were a small child, gently picking up that little one, and saying, “Come here, and tell me all about it.”

This shift in perspective can be transformative, guiding you from a cycle of suffering to a place of freedom.

Don’t be afraid of your grief, for it is merely your Joy and Love in shadow form, waiting to be transformed through acceptance and Love.

More On Connecting with Your Departed Loved One

When grief strikes, it can be profoundly overwhelming.

The pent-up emotions and thoughts, along with the resistance to them, can leave you feeling stuck.

You may find yourself caught in a loop, reliving the trauma over and over again.

This cycling is a natural part of the grieving process.

As you navigate the depths of your sorrow, your vibrational energy tends to be very low.

Meanwhile, your departed loved one resides at a much higher frequency.

Despite their continuous efforts to reach out and show you support, connecting becomes challenging when you're in the depths of your grief.

To bridge this gap, you need to raise your vibrational frequency.

They can then lower theirs to facilitate the connection.

The way to elevate your frequency is through self-healing.

While it's essential to grieve, it's also important to set aside periods where you can be calm, open, and receptive.

Your loved one is consistently sending you signs, often through nature—animals, insects, and birds work as messengers of love.

Additionally, they communicate through numbers.

Pay attention to significant dates like your loved one’s birthday, the day they passed, their age, or birth year.

When these numbers appear in your life, they are a gentle reminder that your loved one is nearby.

Make it a habit to observe license plates, signs, and clocks with this perspective.

Your loved one also loves to communicate through music.

Listen closely to the lyrics, as they may be singing to you in these moments.

Take the time to pause during mornings, evenings, or even throughout your day to have a little chat with your loved one.

Ground yourself in stillness and presence to feel their energy near you.

Many of the messages you receive may come in a telepathic form, leading you to doubt whether these thoughts originated in your mind.

This skepticism can hinder your ability to connect.

Shift your mindset away from the belief that communication with your loved one is impossible; instead, embrace the understanding that it is a natural and beautiful occurrence.

After all, we are all spirits.

Wouldn’t you prefer to believe in the best instead of the worst?

You have the power to cherish your connection with your loved one.

It begins with your intention, awareness, and willingness to embrace a new way of being.

I would love to hear from you about the ways your loved one is communicating with you.

Feel free to share your experiences here.

Above all, be patient with yourself in this process.

It may seem daunting at times, but know that you will heal.

You will find joy in life once again and always feel the presence of your loved one because they are always with you.

Connecting With a Departed Loved One

I have been blessed with the profound experience of establishing an open line of communication with my son, Cory, on the other side, along with other guides, angels, and ascended masters.

Although my connection with Cory began just days after his passing, fully receiving that communication was not an easy journey for me at first.

For 50 years, I was a devout Christian, and in that framework, speaking to those who have departed is generally frowned upon.

Yet, the experiences I had were so vivid and supernatural that I could no longer deny Cory's presence and communication.

After several weeks of grappling with my mind’s limiting beliefs, I made a pivotal decision…

This was MY experience, and I was determined not to let the judgments, opinions, or religious beliefs of others prevent me from embracing the support and connection that was undeniably available to me.

At the time, I feared that others might think I was losing my mind or even dismiss me as delusional.

While I faced a fair amount of gaslighting, I stood firm in my truth and what felt right for me.

It required strength and a willingness to defy the prevailing beliefs of society.

I had to be prepared to walk my own path, despite feeling isolated, even though I was never truly alone.

By choosing to fully embrace the support from the Spirit realm, I expanded my capacity for healing, guided by Cory as my primary Spirit Guide, along with all the magnificent beings who stood by me throughout this human journey.

My journey has been nothing short of miraculous, and I am deeply passionate about sharing the insights I've gained regarding the healing process and how to connect with the support of our departed loved ones on the other side.

I AM here to support and serve in the way I would have wanted to be helped ten years ago. ❤️

Whispers from Our Sons

On this auspicious day—April 4th—I woke up to a Facebook memory that took me back to 4/4/16, when I shared the story of my beloved Cory’s ring had mysteriously gone missing… and just as mysteriously returned. Fittingly, 4 is Cory’s number.

Feeling inspired, I decided to dive into an art project and headed over to Hobby Lobby for supplies.

As I walked into the store, I noticed a woman who looked visibly upset. “I lost my necklace,” she said, her voice trembling.

Immediately, I had a strong intuitive sense that this wasn’t just any necklace—it was connected to someone she’d lost.

I felt pulled to follow her toward the back of the store.

Along the way, I quietly asked Cory to help me. Show me where the necklace is, I whispered inside.

And clear as day, I heard: It’s in her car.

When I caught up to her—now clearly panicking—I gently asked her to tell me about the necklace.

She broke down in tears and said it had her son’s name, Devin, engraved on it. He had passed away 4½ years ago.

I shared that my son had passed 10 years ago, and asked if I could give her a hug.

She nodded, and we embraced in that quiet, sacred way only grieving mothers can.

Afterward, I told her that I had a feeling the necklace was in her car.

So we walked out to the parking lot.

Her husband was already checking around the passenger seat when we arrived.

She took a quick look and stepped aside to let me try.

I had already asked Cory for help—and sure enough, when I reached between the seat and the console, there it was.

I held up the necklace and gently clasped it around her neck.

“You’re welcome to share your grief about your son with me,” I told her softly.

She was crying now—so grateful, so relieved. I smiled and said, “Devin is always looking out for you. He’s still finding ways to support you.”

We stood there, hearts wide open, and exchanged contact info.

I told them about Healing Hearts, the support group I’m starting for bereaved parents.

Ahhh… life is beautiful. In the most mysterious, tender ways.
